Razvan Ionica
Founder / Engineer
Born in 1981, obtains his master in engineering from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, France (2007), engineer from Ecole Polytechnique (2003) and Technical University of Construction Bucharest, Romania, Razvan Ionica was director and partner at Marc Mimram Engineering (Paris, France) between 2012 and 2020.
Since 2020, he opened his own engineering consultancy activity with an international identity located in Paris, France, Tianjin, China and, since 2022, Bucharest, Romania.
In 2021, he joins the Romanian Gouvernment as Counselor to the Minister of Transpor- tation.
During the first 15 years of his career, he ensured the structural design and manage- ment of large and complex projects, particularly in the area of infrastructure. More than 30 works have already been constructed in France, China, Morocco, England, Luxem- bourg and Austria. He has also participated in the design at the schematic stage of more than 50 proposals, in design competitions.
Signatory in 2019 of the French version of the Engineers Declare Climate and Biodiversity Emergency, Razvan is committed to changing business practices to better take into account environmental impacts.
15 years of experience in the construction industry allow him to take a critical look at the practices of the discipline, and to question them.
From his activity as a consulting engineer, he is involved in the implementation of these changes of point of view, through missions with various actors, public agencies, universities, engineering offices, architectural agencies, contractors.
